Two Tone
A two-tone top is an enonomical way of dressing up a straight grain top, and also has a shorter lead time than a fancy grain veneer unit.
A two-tone unit is simply a straight grain unit that the outside few inches are finishes a different color that then center field in order to create a "border" area.
The two finishes must be of the same wood species. The grain continues from the center to the "border" area uninterrupted.
